Killiecrankie House is a fine dining restaurant with rooms located in the Cairngorms National Park, Perthshire, serving a tasting menu of innovative Scottish cuisine utilising the best produce from the oceans and woodlands of Scotland, as well as our own kitchen garden. The menu has been developed with nods to Japanese technique and cuisine, where Tom and Matilda met and lived together. We have five beautiful bedrooms for those looking to stay the night. Overnight guests will receive a gourmet breakfast as well as the option to try a guided whisky tasting. We are approximately 10 minutes north of Pitlochry, and about an hour and a half from Edinburgh, Glasgow & St. Andrews.

“Yes, beds are four-postered, bathrooms luxurious, alpaca throws insanely soft. It’s all darkly dramatic and the bijou bar has a fabulously frivolous pink Murano glass chandelier. But these are mere, if attractive, distractions from the abiding passion of this Highland retreat: intriguing, imaginative, memorable food.”
- Linda Macdonald, The Telegraph

“I believe it to be surely one of the best restaurants in the UK: it is breathtaking in every way, from the welcome to the rooms, from the pre-dinner cocktails to the theatrical tasting menu that follows.”

- Josh Barrie, The New European

“Tsappis and Ruffle, with resourceful, structured, original cooking, fascinating drinks matches, and a secluded location one will not arrive at by accident, have found their niche here in the Highlands, combining their skills to make coming here a magical affair.”

- Douglas Blyde, Wine List Confidential
