reservations

All restaurant and overnight stay reservations can be booked via the “book” button. Please be aware that all reservations are paid at the time of booking.

Reservations for the tasting menu only or overnight experiences can be booked online, but if you require more than one room, then please give us a call or drop us an email. The maximum table size in the dining room is 6 people. Tables larger than this are considered private hires (see below for details).

We ask that guests arrive for dinner by 7pm. Dinner will finish around 10:45pm.

We ask that guests arrive for Saturday lunch by 12pm, to be taken into the dining room for 12:30pm. Lunch will finish around 2pm.

Drinks, extras and a discretionary 12.5% service charge will be charged at the end of your stay with us. Please note all reservations are subject to the below cancellation policy.

If you are unable to find the availability you require online, please call 01796 473 213 and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you require a taxi, please call the local firm Elizabeth Yule (01796 472290) in advance as they get booked up. We recommend 11pm for the pick-up time after dinner.

check in/check out

For those spending the night with us, check in is from 4pm and check out the following day is at 10am. Breakfast is at 9am.

dietary requirements/allergies

Please note, the tasting menu is seafood-heavy and adventurous. Let us know at the time of booking if you require a vegetarian or pescatarian menu. We are unable to offer a vegan menu at this time. For all other dietary requirements, please get in touch before booking to check we can cater for them. Unfortunately due to the size of our kitchen and team, we are not able to cater for allergies to dairy, eggs, mushrooms, alliums and personal dislikes.

If you make a group booking, it is your responsibility to make us aware of dietary requirements of your party. If you do not inform us in advance of any dietary requirements we may not be able to accomodate them on the day and a charge will still be applicable. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Whilst we follow best practice at all times, all dishes we serve are produced in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked. Therefore we are unable to guarantee the environment will be completely allergen free.

Unfortunately due to the size of our kitchen and team, we are unable to cater for personal dislikes.

cancellations

For all reservations, cancellations more than 28 days before the booking date will be issued a full refund, minus a £20 administration fee. Cancellations 28 days or less from the reservation date will be charged the full amount of the booking. No refunds will be issued for incomplete bookings.

Should you need to move your booking for any reason, you may do so for no additional charge, excepting any increase in the cost of the future experience, so long as it is more than 28 days before your booking date. If you need to move a booking that is between 28 and 15 days away, then we charge a fee of £50 per person to do so for dinner and overnight stays, and £30 per person for lunch bookings, which will be added to your future booking, along with any increase in the cost of the experience. This can only be done once per booking. Bookings within 14 days cannot be moved, and will not be refunded.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please get in touch via email in the first instance.

We strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance, if they have to make a journey to get to us.

private hire

Private hires are available for parties of all sizes, but bookings of seven or more people are considered a private hire and are subject to different terms. A non-refundable 50% payment is made at the time of booking, with the balance to be settled 6 weeks before the date of the hire. Cancellations more than 6 weeks from the booking will forfeit the 50% deposit, while cancellations within the 6 weeks will forfeit the entire hire amount. In the dining room, up to 24 people can be seated, although the property can accommodate up to 85 people in a marquee. Please note that there is a 12.5% compulsory service on all food and drink. gift vouchers

We offer gift vouchers of all values at Killiecrankie House. Gift vouchers have no expiry but prices for certain experiences may increase in future, however the voucher can still be used to redeem the monetary amount against any experience at Killiecrankie House. Use the 'Gift Vouchers’ tab to purchase a specific experience; Tasting Menu, Overnight Experience or Chef’s Counter Overnight Experience, plus you can add on a drinks pairing to the experience. Please allow 24 hours for your personalised gift note to be emailed to you. If you would like to organise a voucher for a specific monetary amount, please call 01796 473213. Please note that once purchased, vouchers or any balances remaining from their use cannot be redeemed for cash. Please let us know when claiming a voucher if you have any food allergies.

Killiecrankie House is a cashless property. All major credit cards are accepted.

children

We do not have a children’s menu, but those aged 5-17 are welcome to join us if they are happy to partake of the single tasting menu served to everyone. Children under 18 are not allowed in the bar. Children under 5 are not permitted.

smoking

Killiecrankie House is a no smoking property, including ‘e-cigarettes’ and equivalents. A £250 cleaning fee will be added to the bill of anyone found to be smoking indoors.

parking

Parking is available on site for guests. Please note that parking is limited and for those arriving in campervans/caravans we may ask you to park across the road in the public car park.

accessibility

We have step-free access for wheelchair users and toilet facilities are available on the ground floor. Unfortunately, we do not have provisions for wheelchairs in the bedrooms.

dogs

Unfortunately, due to staff allergies dogs are not permitted indoors. Please note, this does not apply to assistance dogs.

corkage

Corkage is charged at £75 per 750ml bottle, for bottles not on our wine list. We kindly ask that you do not bring any bottles listed on our wine list.

wifi

Wifi is available throughout the property.

dress code

At Killiecrankie House there is no dress code.

damages

Should any damages or theft be made to the property by guests during their stay, guests are fully liable and will be charged in full to cover the costs incurred.
